Who is she?
I'm Renata, a Tourism graduate, and Travel Journalism student passionate about regenerative tourism and sustainable gastronomy, especially for travelers with dietary restrictions like me.
In 2017, I left Brazil to study abroad and soon found my purpose in tourism. That same year, I became a vegetarian out of environmental and ethical concerns, which deepened my commitment to conscious living and traveling.
Over the years, I worked aboard Douro River cruises, which gave me firsthand insight into the tourism industry and tour guiding, and also highlighted just how inaccessible food can be for people with special dietary needs.
For some time now, I’ve been navigating my own gut health challenges, which led me to adopt an even more restrictive diet. This experience has made me deeply aware of how difficult it can be to eat well and feel included while traveling.
Revoy Travel was born from this journey: a platform to share stories, ideas, and resources that inspire a more mindful, inclusive way to explore the world. My mission is to build a community that believes travel can be a force for good.
Currently, I’m pursuing a Master’s in Travel Journalism to strengthen my voice and impact in the industry. And I’m learning out loud, inviting others to grow and discover alongside me.
